A forerunner in tourism,
we have been an eco-friendly hotel since 2000
The Hôtel LES GOELANDS, an eco-responsible hotel that respects its environment.
As a forerunner in tourism, we drew up an ecological charter in 2000.
Our approach was rewarded in 2005 with the “CLEF VERTE” label. We were one of the first 5 hotels in France to obtain this distinction, and the first in the Basque Country.
Since then, in keeping with this label, we have been constantly improving our ecological actions. For a number of years now, we’ve been offering electrically-assisted bicycles for exploring Saint Jean de Luz and the Basque Coast.
Since 2014, we have been recognised as a GOLD ECOLEADER by Tripadvisor.
Choosing Hôtel LES GOELANDS also means doing something for the environment in the Basque Country.
We support the CPIE Littoral Basque (permanent centre for ecological initiatives) and the HEGALALDIA bird rescue centre.
We are delighted to invite you to join us. As an eco-tourist, don’t hesitate to take part in recycling your documents, batteries, etc.
